OPRA is a non-profit organization partnering with leading businesses to honor those who take personal risks to protect society and their fellow citizens. The program provides exclusive benefits and discounts for personnel and conscripts in the Armed Forces, first responders, rescue service personnel and veterans.

Free access
Access to OPRA is free. Some of our partners contribute to ongoing operations through paid exposure or transactions made via OPRA.

How does it work?
Discounts are provided through OPRA's own agreements on the logged-in website or app. When shopping in a physical store, present your OPRA ID from the profile page.

Alternative verification
For personnel in the Armed Forces and the Police, there is a separate, recommended verification method during registration that does not require uploading documentation.
Privacy and security
For reasons of privacy and security, your email address is the only information OPRA stores about you, on encrypted servers.
OPRA will never ask you to provide personal information such as your name, address, age, gender, phone number, employer, national ID number or payment information.

OPRA is a non-profit company registered in the Norwegian Volunteer Registry, run by full-time active duty personnel and one of Norway's foremost developers in their spare time.
Eric Lein
Team leader
Has a background from the Royal Norwegian Air Force and works as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot.
Kristofer Giltvedt Selbekk
Developer
Head of competency development at one of Norway's largest IT companies. He does all his work for OPRA in his spare time, as a thank you to a group of people he personally appreciates.
Sissel Espedal
Head negotiator
Background in police negotiation and a degree in law enforcement.
OPRA gratitude fund
Our society survives on the backs of everyday heroes who do far more than can reasonably be expected of them. To shine a light on this effort, OPRA has established the Gratitude Fund.
Each year, we award the «Valor Spear», a specially designed statuette, together with a grant of NOK 15,000 to one frontline individual who has shown extraordinary courage, compassion or dedication.

2025: NOK 15,000 donated to the family of Adrian Willyson Brask.
2025: NOK 10,000 donated to the family of Markus Botnen.
The total amount donated will vary based on the funds available at the time of the donation.
